JOB VACANCY - CLASS 5 HIAB DRIVER
PART TIME START, with potential to move to FULL TIME.
Mahalo Contracting Limited is a locally owned and operated transport and contracting business in the Kerikeri Region (Northland). We are a small dynamic team and have been operating for over 20 years.We are looking for an experienced, skilled and conscientious hiab driver to join our team:
Requirements/responsibilities include:
- Our drivers are responsible for loading, transporting & delivering containers, frames, trusses, cabins, general building supplies, and other over dimensional loads.
- Loading and unloading of trucks is also required, as is some heavy lifting.
- Previous driving experience is essential as are Forklift, HIAB, Class 2, 4 and 5 licences
- This is a Monday to Friday role which offers Saturday work occasionally
- Immediate start. Part time/permanent position (with potential to move to full time)
- A friendly personality and a “CAN DO” attitude
- Personal drive and motivation
- Excellent time management
- Accuracy & attention to details
- The ability to calmly and logically work through problems
- A strong customer service focus is important
- A willingness to be flexible and assist across the business where necessary
- A clean driver’s license
