We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust. This role focuses on delivering high-quality housing modification assessments and reports under the ACC contract. You'll work closely with clients, whanau, builders, and other professionals to ensure homes are safe, accessible, and tailored to individual needs.

In addition to housing modifications, your caseload will be supplemented with other ACC contract work, offering variety and opportunities to work with clients presenting with a range of co-morbidities including brain injury, spinal cord injury, and complex trauma.

Ko wai koe - About you
  • NZ-registered Occupational Therapist with a current Practising Certificate
  • Proven experience ideally in housing modifications under the ACC contract
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards and home design principles is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Confident IT skills, with experience using Microsoft Office 365
  • Effective time management and willingness to travel
  • A valid and clean driver's licence
  • Commitment to working within our values and rehabilitation framework
