MRI / General MITPermanent, Full time Rotorua HospitalWe are seeking a NZ Registered Medical Imaging Technologist with an Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) in Diagnostic Imaging and Magnetic Resonance Imaging to join our supportive, enthusiastic, and professional Radiology team at Rotorua Hospital, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleThe successful applicant must have an MRTB registered MRI Scope of Practice, and an Annual Practising Certificate for Diagnostic Imaging and MR or MRTB registration with a pathway to APC.

You will be required to participate in the out of hours evening and weekends shift roster with overnight cover coming from an on call service.About the Team/Service/LocationRotorua Radiology boasts a modern department with 4 DR rooms, two DR mobiles and two Flat Panel C-arms, Digital fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound services.

We are a friendly and social team with a great working environment. The MRI unit is a Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T Magnet installed November 2016. The Department offers a full range of head, body and musculo-skeletal MR imaging.
