Site Manager - Hygiene & Cleaning Services

Ecowize NZ provides specialist hygiene and cleaning services to the food processing industry in NZ since 2002.

We have developed our hygiene and sanitation services to encompass high performance and high compliance cleaning solutions across all parts of the the food chain, from safe food to biosecurity.

We are currently recruiting for a permanent position of Site Manager - Hygiene & Cleaning to manage and lead the onsite team. This role is based in Auckland . W are looking for a suitable person with a background in the food processing industry or industrial cleaning services.

These would be an asset but not a barrier to the right candidate. The role offers advancement opportunities.

This role carries the following responsibilities from the Job Description.
  • Allocate human resources and equipment , including rostering and time management .
  • Assigning duties and monitoring work performance.
  • Liaising with Operations Management and office staff to co ordinate business and problem solutions.
  • Ensuring supply orders are placed on time and equipment maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirements onsite.
  • Ensuring work complies with relevant client and government policies and procedures.
  • Providing direction and instruction to the team and assisting with recruitment.
  • Managing, motivating and developing staff and attention to detail.
  • Complete payroll and essential internal documentation in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes.
  • Ability to plan and build strong working relationships with clients and staff.
  • Ability to lead and manage a multi cultural team.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Certification in chemical handling, First Aid, Working at Heights or enclosed Space will be highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualification is a requirement in any discipline.

This is a full time, permanent position with at least 40 hours per week.

Annual salary would be in industry standard and not a barrier to the right candidate ( around $70,000 p.a)

Reporting the the Operations Manager , the role is based in Auckland and could require service at any of our client facilities.
