Position Overview
As a Courier Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods while upholding the company’s reputation for professionalism and excellence. This role requires strong organizational skills, safe driving practices, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time service
- Safely manoeuvre vehicles during loading and unloading operations
- Assist with loading to ensure goods are secured and arranged to prevent damage
- Verify delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
- Report vehicle maintenance requirements and safety concerns promptly
- Carry out unloading procedures in accordance with company standards
- Obtain proof of delivery and maintain professional communication with clients
- Minimum of one year’s relevant courier driving experience or a related qualification (preferred)
- Valid New Zealand Driver License
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
- Strong time management, reliability, and attention to detail
- Commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
