Western Motors Otautau is a trusted, locally owned workshop providing high-quality automotive repairs and customer service to the Otautau community and surrounding areas. We are looking for an experienced automotive mechanic to join our friendly, experienced team.
We’re seeking someone who can hit the ground running and take on a wide range of mechanical tasks – this role doesn’t necessarily require qualifications but must be experienced.- General servicing and maintenance
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- WOF inspections (WOF authority an advantage, or willingness to obtain)
- Engine, suspension, brake and electrical repairs
- Ordering of parts
- Customer communication and job documentation
- Experienced automotive technician
- Strong diagnostic abilities and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- A valid NZ driver’s license
- Must be a New Zealand Resident
