Motel Manager
The Motel Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of our 33-room motel. The role entails the following.
Overseeing reception & reservations.Ensuring customer satisfaction.
Rostering staff.
Overseeing the restaurant and bar operation including ordering.
Hiring and training staff.
Online marketing/media.
Maintaining security.
Maintaining health and safety standards.
Reporting any maintenance issues and preventive maintenance requirements to the owners.
This role comes with the benefit of onsite accommodation and remuneration will be in the range of $68K-$73K depending on experience.
Working hours are 40 per week spread across a 7-day roster of 5-6 working days. Weekend work is required.
To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 2 years of experience in motel or hotel operations, management, or supervisory work. A Duty Manager certificate is essential due to the bar being onsite.
Head Housekeeper
The Head Housekeeper will be responsible for running a team of 3-5 housekeepers. The role entails
Overseeing daily cleaning to ensure top quality presentation of guest rooms.Cleaning of the public areas.
Training new staff.
Ensuring that laundry operations are kept up to date.
Assisting with overseeing detailed cleaning of the restaurant and bar if required.
Inventory control.
Guest services – if guests require specific cleaning.
This role comes with the benefit of onsite accommodation and the hourly wage is $30.
Working hours are 38 per week spread across a 7-day roster of 5-7 working days. Weekend work is required.
To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 12 months of experience in motel or hotel housekeeping.
