I’m looking for a skilled, strong, and dependable support worker to help me start each day well, keep my household running smoothly, and support me to live a full, active life.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, physical work, professionalism, and making a real impact.

Availability Requirement

You must be available for at least 2 days per week (flexible), and it is strongly preferred that one of those days is a weekend day.

Additional hours may be offered for the right candidate.

The Role – Start the Morning Strong

You’ll assist with:

  • Showering and grooming (including shaving, etc.)
  • Dressing and valet-level presentation
  • Preparing a high-quality breakfast and setting up the morning routine
  • Light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping things orderly
  • Occasional light maintenance or simple household fixes

This part of the job requires strength, physical coordination, discretion, and a calm professional presence.

After the Morning – Supporting a Full Life

Once the day is underway, you’ll help me stay active and engaged through:
  • Driving a wheelchair-accessible Mercedes Sprinter
  • Getting out to fitness sessions, hydrotherapy, or bush walks
  • Supporting home-based exercise in the gym
  • Running errands (supermarket, post, admin)
  • Assisting with daily organisation, small tasks, and occasional tech/admin help
  • Enabling participation in business, finance, technology, research, and community life

This is a varied role ideal for someone who enjoys movement, purpose, and independence-focused support.

About You

The ideal candidate is:
  • Physically strong, coordinated, and confident with mobility support
  • Respectful, discreet, and reliable
  • Able to work independently and maintain high standards
  • Tech-competent and organised
  • Comfortable with variety—from personal care to driving to household tasks
  • Someone who takes pride in doing things properly
  • Enjoys helping someone get the most out of each day

You will be consistently working in a modern, well-presented home environment with high expectations of professionalism and care.

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years in disability support / personal assistance / personal training/ health & fitness/ hospitality / or domestic service
  • Full NZ Driver’s Licence (comfortable driving a large van)
  • Able to pass Police Vetting
  • Fully vaccinated (COVID-19)
  • Physically able to assist with transfers and exercises
  • NZ Citizen/Resident or valid Work Visa

Why This Role Is Exceptional

You’ll be recognised for elite-standard skill and reliability, and you’ll work in a role where your capability genuinely matters.

How to Apply

Please include:
  • A short introduction
  • Your CV
