We are looking for someone highly self motivated, with at least 2 years experience handling live animals who is keen to join a small , enthusiastic and busy small team of working with dogs and cats on a daily basis within our busy Quarantine facility.
This is a very physically demanding role, cleaning out kennels with high pressure hoses, bathing and grooming dogs of all sizes cleaning out cattery units, to ensure they are staying within a hygienic environment, and most importantly ensuring all our occupants are fit and healthy during their stay with us by providing comfort and enrichment.

Good record keeping skills and an eye for detail is essential, some light admin work and health checks of all pets with completion of daily monitoring including medication administration. As an MPI approved transitional facility strict biosecurity protocol must be followed and assistance to MPI vets within a regulated environment is expected.
