We are seeking a seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist, who will contribute to the procurement planning, sourcing and managing of goods and services for Toitū Te Whenua to deliver great outcomes, achieve public value and manage risk.

You will provide advice and guidance to your internal stakeholders and will be seen as a trusted advocate for strategic procurement and commercial standards & practices and their role in driving organisational effectiveness.This role is in the Commercial Team, which is a part of the Business and Commercial function within the wider Organisational Effectiveness (OE) group.

OE is the business unit designed to be an influential centre that supports the whole of our organisation.

Our group combines key enterprise functions to drive efficiencies and support Toitū Te Whenua's ongoing performance.The Commercial Team is committed to delivering procurement excellence both internally and externally, to all stakeholders, customers and suppliers.

We are looking for a new Procurement Specialist to join our team in a role with plenty of opportunity to challenge and develop your skills and experience.
It is a one-year fixed term role to enable others in the team to focus on the Maritime Digital Transformation (MDT) programme.

This landmark initiative marks the first major investment in New Zealand's maritime navigational services in over 30 years, ensuring our maritime sector remains safe, competitive, and sustainable.
