  • Kōrero mō te tūrangaAs a Financial Administrator, you will be part of the team responsible for all financial transactions and processes relating to accounts receivable, accounts payable, debt management and debt collection, banking, receipting, dealing with customer enquiries in an accurate and timely manner, and customer account reconciliations.
About You
  • MōuThe ideal candidate will have previous extensive experience in Accounts Receivable or Payable.You will be a proficient user of Microsoft Excel and ideally be a skilled user of Finance One (also known as Technology One).You need to be proactive and a strong team player willing to support others.

Your customer service skills will be second to none allowing you to communicate and negotiate clearly with customers.

Due to the nature of the work attention to detail is key, so we need you to have a keen eye.If you are passionate about utilising your financial and customer service skills, this could be the opportunity you are looking for!To be successful in this role you will have:Solid working knowledge of accounting principles including financial reconciliations, accounts receivable processes and practicesExperience delivering accurate and timely financial operations (Accounts Receivable/Payable)Experience in Debt Collection and customer accounts management (desirable)Strong numerical skills with an eye for detailAbility to multi-task and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlinesProven negotiation skills and confidence dealing with customersCommitment to professional ethics, confidentiality and privacyExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleaguesA reputation as a reliable and collaborative team player who delivers on commitmentsPositive, flexible, solution-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement You do not need to meet all of the role requirements to apply.

  • Mō tō mātou RōpūThe Finance Administration team sits within the Finance Systems and Processing area of Finance, Property and Procurement.Reporting to the Team Leader, Accounts Receivables you will be part of a team of five that manages the accounts receivables, banking, debt collection, and customer management functions on behalf of the Ministry.
