But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites, employ nearly 3,000 people and operate a fleet of over 2,300 vehicles, across 3 countries!
We do more than collect the bins, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.
Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THIS ROLEAs a JJ’s Heavy vehicle Operator, you will operate a waste collection vehicle, in the Wellington region.
On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites. You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
You will enjoy family friendly hours, Monday to Friday (no working weekends!) as well as great pay rates with a KPI bonus! Early starts (between 3-5am) and early finishes.
If you’ve got your Class 2 or 4 licence, we can teach you the rest!
ABOUT YOUCurrent Full Class 2 or 4 license
Waste industry experience is preferred (however, full training will be provided)
Must be able to structure runs and have an excellent rapport with customers
Commit to JJ’s Waste values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity
Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance
Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
Must have unrestricted rights to work in NZ
Well-developed people and relationship skills
