What We’re Looking For:You’ll need at least 3 years of experience on the tools in construction, along with a strong work ethic and the skills to get the job done. Bonus points if you bring some of your own tools to the table!
Your Key Duties Will Include:- Assisting carpenters with framing, cladding, and general construction tasks.
- Safely and efficiently operating power tools.
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Maintaining clean and organized workspaces.
- Helping with formwork, concreting, and other site-specific tasks.
- Following health and safety guidelines to the letter.
- Proven construction experience, particularly in residential, commercial, or civil projects.
- Confidence using power tools (having some of your own tools is desirable).
- Reliable transport to get to and from work.
- The ability to pass a drug test and provide work-related references.
- Be physically fit and able to handle the demands of a busy construction site.
- A valid work visa or residency (NZ/AUS).
- A variety of exciting projects to keep your skills sharp.
