We are looking for a **Cook** to join us at our Tauranga Hospital site . This is a **Permanent Full Time position of 35 hours/week.**
**Ko o kawenga/Your responsibilities:**- Preparing, cooking and serving quality meals and snacks;
- Ensuring the quality of every dish we serve!
- Assist with maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen
- Follow the site food safety and health and safety plans.
- Provide excellent customer service and assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties.

- be hard working, trustworthy, with a friendly outgoing personality with a 'can do' attitude.
- ideally you will already have experience in cooking and baking and experience in a cross section of the industry.
- hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to train for one.
- be able to communicate fluently in English and have good English cuisine cooking skills.
- have superior customer service skills but, most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
- will be in New Zealand already, a New Zealand citizen or resident or be in position of a valid NZ work visa.
- will need to Pass a Pre-employment Background Check.
- will need to provide evidence of your Covid-19 vaccination status.
