Mobile Plant Operator - Alexandra

• Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed.
• Employee housing is provided on-site, and applicants must reside in the farm accommodation. No drive-in options available.
• Accommodation may be shared or private, depending on availability at the time of successful placement. No pets allowed.

Applicants must have the following as per employer’s requirement:

• Applicants must be physically fit and willing to learn.
• Applicants must pass pre-employment drug test and have no criminal record.
• Must have a driver licence

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing a range tractor work, including spraying & mowing.
• Oversee tractor operators and supervise work teams through peak periods.
• Application and scheduling of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilisers safely and effectively.
• Scheduling machinery repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with irrigation systems.
• Assist with harvesting operations.
• Maintain accurate records of orchard activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

As the successful applicant you will bring:

• A proven history in practical / hands on orchard operations.
• A high level of chemical, fertiliser, and irrigation management experience.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to balance short-term and long-term priorities.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Proven leadership skill.
