Painter - Otago

• Stellar Recruitment currently have multiple Painter positions available in the Otago region
• Full time, permanent work with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
• Your ordinary hours of work will be 40 hours per week normally worked between 6:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday. However, you may be required to work the occasional Saturday.
• $26 to $31 per hour depending on experience.

• You must have at least 3 years of relevant experience. You must be able to work within the timeframe of the project and be a reliable member of the team.
• Knowing, understanding, communicating, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements, and company safety policies and procedures.

• Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces, such as walls, ceilings, furniture, equipment, and structures
• Ordering and selecting painting and materials and preparing layouts.
• Preparation of areas before painting commences.
• Covering joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds and smoothing then using wet brushes and sandpaper
• Mixing and applying coats of paint in accordance with the foreman's instruction.
