The Impact You’ll Have:

As a core member of our casual pool, you will be the backbone of care in Christchurch.

You will:

  • Provide compassionate, high-standard care to tangata whaiora and service users.
  • Work alongside multidisciplinary teams in dynamic hospital and community environments.
  • Adapt quickly to different settings, bringing your expertise to where it is most needed.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 6 months experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Mental Health Assistant, or Community Support Worker.
  • Reliability: The ability to commit to at least 3 shifts per week (including one weekend shift) to ensure continuity of care for our clients.
  • Credentials: A current CPR/First Aid certificate (or the drive to get one immediately).
  • Mobility: A Full NZ Driver’s Licence is essential for our Community Support roles.
  • Work Rights: You must already have the legal right to work in NZ (please note: Gaia is not an accredited employer for visa sponsorship).
