Location/ Place of work – 11 cross Street, Castlecliff, Whanganui.
Wage rate offered - $28/hour - $30/hour (depending on level of experience)
Job Type – Permanent Full Time
Position – Pizza Chef/cook

Hourly of work - Minimum 30 hours per week

REQUIREMENT:
  1. At least two years of relevant experience
  2. Candidates must show their eligibility to work in New Zealand.
  3. Should be willing to work in shift
  4. Should be willing to work on weekends
JOB DUTIES - As given below:
  • Will be responsible for checking raw materials delivered meet quality standards and
returning products that are sub standard
  • Will need to undertake the preliminary preparation for cooking food, including marinating,
chopping, grinding, and mixing ingredients
  • Crafting/making pizzas, hand pressing pizza dough and creating salads
  • Prepare dishes as per the menu items, using a variety of cooking equipment and
methods and ensuring that the food is cooked at the right temperature
  • Use appropriate seasoning during cooking to give authentic taste
  • portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces, and garnishes
  • Ensure that the food prepared is stored at the appropriate temperature
  • Be able to understand dietary restrictions of clients and prepare food accordingly by
determining alternate ingredients
  • Will be responsible for training other kitchen staff, apprentices, and new employees
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Ensure that the quality of food prepared is of a high standard.
