Production Supervisor - Afternoon Shift

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership focused supervisory role where your primary impact will be through developing people, building capability, and leading a high performing team. While meeting production targets remains important, this role is first and foremost about leadership, training, and getting the best out of your people.
As a Supervisor, you will lead by example and play a critical role in shaping team culture, performance, and capability. You will be responsible for developing operators through coaching, feedback, and structured training, while ensuring production outputs are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Development- Create an environment where safety, learning, and continuous improvement are actively encouraged
- Build capability across the team through coaching, mentoring, and on the job training
- Develop a team culture built on ownership, accountability, and pride in workmanship
- Provide clear direction, regular honest feedback, and performance coaching to operators
- Conduct performance reviews and development conversations to support growth and progression
- Reinforce and role model company values and culture in daily interactions and decision making
- Lead the resolution of people, technical, and quality issues in a calm and constructive manner
- Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental responsibility at all times
- Organise and allocate work to ensure production plans and customer deadlines are met
- Supervise day to day operations within your area of responsibility
- Drive process improvements to lift efficiency, quality, and consistency
- Ensure all glass products meet required quality and compliance standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and on time order delivery
About You
You are a people focused leader who enjoys developing others and helping teams perform at their best. You may be an experienced supervisor or an emerging leader ready to step up into your first formal leadership role.

- A good understanding of Health and Safety and ability to engage their team.
- The ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage at all levels of the business

- Sound problem solving and decision making capability
- Confidence using computers and production systems
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work afternoon shifts
Previous supervisory or leadership experience is beneficial but not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead people, build trust, and create a high performing team environment.
