About the role
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated HeavyDiesel Mechanicto join teams inAuckland, Christchurch & Hamilton.In these roles, you’ll be working on a wide range of trucks – carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to keep equipment operating at its best.You’ll be part of a tight-knit crew that values loyalty, high-quality workmanship, and doing the job right the first time. The role is both field and workshop based.
In the role you will be:
- Doing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Fault finding, diagnostic work and repair hydraulic and electrical faults
- Completing mechanical & electrical repairs
- Working Monday - Friday and rostered Saturdays and overtime when and if you want it
- A secure, full-time position with a respected national company
- Competitive pay rates of $36 -$43 per hour – with opportunities to increase as your skills grow

About you -We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience as a diesel mechanic
- Holds a trade qualification in diesel / plant equivalent
- Can diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults confidently
- Can work autonomously in the workshop
- Is reliable, motivated, and takes pride in their workmanship
- Brings a positive, can-do attitude and works well in a team environment
