Garden Centre Supervisor - Permanent 40 Hours per week – Tue to Sat

Mitre 10 MEGA Oamaru is looking for an experienced retail professional with green fingers and a customer-focused attitude to take on a leadership role within our garden centre.

We are seeking someone who will manage and guide the garden team, while striving to meet all goals and targets.

• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
• Administration experience
• ordering - inventory
• time management
• A high level of physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy items is essential for these roles
• Retail leadership experience, including stock management
• Sound experience in managing and mentoring staff.
• A passion for customer service excellence;
• Ability to manage a varied and busy work load; and
• A knowledge of garden hardware, green goods and associated products is preferred

Ideally you will be experienced with both green and dry garden goods, although applicants with a proven retail management background and who are eager to learn will be considered.
