Duty Manager – The Grange Takapuna
Location: Takapuna, AucklandPay Rate: $32–$35 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Minimum 35 hours, up to 45 hours per week

About the Role:As a Duty Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our venue, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. You’ll lead the front-of-house team, support staff training, manage customer interactions, and ensure compliance with all licensing and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service
Lead, support, and motivate front-of-house staffHandle customer inquiries and resolve any issues
Maintain a high standard of service, cleanliness, and presentation
Ensure adherence to liquor licensing and health & safety regulations
Assist with staff training and development
What We’re Looking For: A valid Duty Manager’s Certificate
Proven hospitality experience in a supervisory or management roleStrong communication and leadership skills
A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Availability for a flexible roster, including evenings and weekends
