About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient logistics, team management, and seamless coordination between sales and customer support. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and a hands-on approach to warehouse and inventory management.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse & Team Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of 3–4 warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and compliance with company standards.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize storage, picking, and dispatch processes
- Inventory & Logistics:
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving, inspecting, and storing goods accurately.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained, conduct regular audits, and minimize discrepancies.
- Organize storage space, label goods systematically, and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Unload and organize incoming containers (oversee unloading, inspect goods, verify shipments).
- Order Fulfillment & Dispatch:
- Coordinate with the sales team to prioritize and process orders efficiently.
- Supervise order picking, packing, and loading to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Arrange transportation and liaise with delivery partners to meet customer deadlines.
- After-Sales Support:
- Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.
- Maintain records of returns and defective items, ensuring proper documentation for supplier claims.
- Reporting & Systems:
- Accurately update inventory data in digital and manual tracking systems.
- Generate reports on stock levels, order accuracy, and warehouse performance.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Valid NZ Full Driver’s License & Forklift License.
- Proven experience in Warehouse Management, including team leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on process improvement and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with sales, customers, and suppliers.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., inventory software, spreadsheets).
- Must hold a valid work visa or residency.
