Fabricator Welder

We are looking for experienced Fabricator Welders to join a busy transport engineering company specialising in truck bodies, trailers, and heavy transport equipment. This role can be temporary or long-term depending on your availability.
Key Tasks:- Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
- Heavy fabrication of truck bodies, trailers and transport components
- Structural chassis work and mechanical fitting
- MIG Flux Core and Stick welding – FCAW & SMAW
- Some TIG welding – aluminium and stainless steel (transport components)
- Repair, strengthening and modification of heavy transport equipment
- Working efficiently to meet production deadlines
- Ideally trade qualified or have had 3+ years in heavy transport industry
- Proven experience fabricating heavy transport gear, trailers or truck bodies
- Competent Heavy Fabricator or Fitter Welder
- Ability to work unsupervised and complete projects from start to finish
- Strong ability to fabricate accurately from technical drawings
- Solid commitment to Health & Safety standards
