About the RoleThe Perinatal Mental Health Service provides a comprehensive specialist multi-disciplinary mental health service to birthing parents who experience moderate to severe mental health-related issues during pregnancy and the post-partum period.

About the TeamHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato Perinatal Mental Health is a specialised team that offers assessment, treatment and advice for women who have developed mental illness or have had previous mental illness during the perinatal period (during pregnancy or up to one year after the baby is born).
You will be part of an interdisciplinary team including social workers, nurses, doctors, and psychologists. We aim to provide a supportive environment including supervision, mentoring and professional development. You will have excellent communication, networking and advocacy skills.
