Automotive Mechanic – King Auto, Auckland
Location: Auckland, New ZealandEmployment Type: Full-time
Salary: $28-36 Per Hour- depending on experience, Minimum hours of work per week: 30- Max. of 40 Hrs of work.
About the Role:King Auto is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles in a busy and professional workshop.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs
dismantle and removing vehicle components, and perform full repairs on them.
Re-assemble the components as needed.
Diagnose vehicle faults and recommend solutions
Conduct WOF checks (if certified)
Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicles are operating properly
Maintaining accurate records relating to clients, their vehicles, parts, and service history.
Following health and safety procedures
Requirements:At least 3 years proven experience as an automotive mechanic. Must be able to perform repairs/assembling and re-assembling of auto parts.
Relevant trade certification preferred but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Full NZ driver’s license preferred
