About the role
Our village team are looking for an experienced cleaner to join them for a part time cleaner role to maintain the cleanliness of the communal areas at Merivale Village in Christchurch.
This permanent, part time position is working:
Saturday and Sunday 8am to 2pm = 11 hours per week.
Some of the great things you will be doing as a cleaner:
- Cleaning common areas
- Working and interacting with residents and other staff
- Maintaining health and safety standards
About you
We are looking for someone with the right attitude, with excellent communication skills and who can work as part of a team to provide a great level of care and maintenance in ensuring our residents, visitors and staff come to a clean, welcoming environment.
Some things that will support your application include:
- Good level of fitness
- Previous cleaning experience is highly beneficial.
- Empathy for the elderly and a love of making a difference in our residents' lives
- Bright, breezy "can do" attitude and a team focus
