Intermediate Solicitor
DMK Law is a specialist family, litigation and employment law firm located in stunning and sunny Nelson. We are searching for a Graduate or junior solicitor to join our collaborative team.
This is a permanent full-time position.
About us
DMK Law was established in 2019 and has grown since that time now with 5 solicitors and 3 support staff. We are a close-knit team who work across all areas of employment and family law work including matters in Court.
We undertake legal aid work which we believe is important and work for private clients. Two of our Directors are on the Lawyer for Child panel, appointed by the Court to represent children in complex proceedings and 3 of our lawyers are appointed as counsel to assist the Court regularly.One of our Directors is an experienced employment lawyer and trained Family Dispute Resolution Mediator. We have an incredible team of experienced support staff working with our lawyers and we are proud of the special culture of our firm.

About you
We are looking to expand our family law team by adding an experienced intermediate level Solicitor to our team. Ideally you'll have 3-5 years PQE and be a team player with strong communication skills and able to build rapport with colleagues and clients from all walks of life.Legal Aid lead provider status for Family legal aid is required.
You’ll have a genuine interest in advocacy and court work and You will have a strong ethical approach to your work and collaboration with your clients and your colleagues outside the firm. If our team sounds like one you would like to be a part of we would love to hear from you.
