About the Role
Are you an experienced Health Care Assistant with exceptional communication skills? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our exceptional Orthopaedics team based at Tauranga hospital.
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work under the direction of our highly motivated, friendly, and enthusiastic nursing team. Our team is dedicated to delivering comprehensive quality care to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible support throughout their healthcare journey.
We are offering one permanent part-time position working 0.8FTE (32 hours per week).
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Orthopaedic Ward provides care to 46 beds who cater to both elective and acute care orthopaedic patients, including several medical patients. This diverse patient population will provide you with a rewarding and challenging environment to apply your skills and make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
About you
Preferred applicants will have a certificate in Health Care Assistance Level 4 (or other relevant qualification) and have current experience working as an HCA in a health care setting or in a related health care service.

You will need to be available to work rostered shifts including morning, afternoon and night duties, across all seven days
