We are a growing New Zealand business specialising in pre-hung doors, stair systems, and customised building solutions for residential and commercial construction projects. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a practical, hands-on Operations & Manufacturing Supervisor with strong building industry experience to help lead our factory and operational team.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in construction, carpentry, joinery, stairs, interiors, or building products who understands site demands, project deadlines, quality workmanship, and customer expectations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our pre-hung door and stair manufacturing facility, helping coordinate production, warehouse operations, scheduling, and installation support.

You’ll work closely with builders, installers, site managers, and internal teams to ensure products are manufactured accurately, delivered on time, and meet the high standards expected within the NZ construction industry.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, leading teams, improving systems, and being actively involved in operations.

• Building or construction

• Timber machining or manufacturing
• Site supervision or construction coordination

• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing, construction, or operational environment
• Strong understanding of NZ building processes and products
• Practical problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to quality workmanship and customer service
• Experience with manufacturing, CNC machinery, or production environments is highly regarded
