Electrician with HVAC Experience – Wellington

We’re looking for a highly capable HVAC Electrician to join a well-regarded team in Wellington. You’ll play a pivotal role in commercial and industrial installation projects, including all aspects of HVAC power supply and control wiring for:
- Chillers, motors, pumps, and air-handlers
- Air-conditioning systems
- BMS hardware and controls
- Installing, troubleshooting, and commissioning HVAC (mechanical) electrical systems
- Collaborating with project managers to meet deadlines
- Mentoring and training apprentices
- Upholding high safety and workmanship standards
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:- NZ Electrical Registration + Current Practicing License
- Proven HVAC Electrical experience
- Strong knowledge in low voltage control systems and QA processes
- Excellent installation and fault-finding skills
- Commitment to health and safety
- Tech-savvy and confident using digital tools and reporting systems
- $39–$46/hour depending on experience and mentoring ability (minimum 44-hour work week)
- Time and a half overtime after 44 hours/week and a day in lieu for public holiday work
- Weekly tool allowance
- Quarterly 1-on-1 check-ins with your manager and at least one performance pay review per year
