Forklift + bagging rotation - variety every day
- Solid hours, solid penal rates
- Dirty, dusty, noisy - and worth every cent
Versatile Forklift Operator - Seasonal (Now-April) ?? Southland-based. We're gearing up to make a start asap so you'll need to be ready when the client calls on ya!
$27+ pr/hr + penal rates | 6:00am starts
We're looking for a seasoned forklift operator to join a tight-knit bagging crew for the busy season running through to April. This isn't a role where you sit on your backside all day — you'll rotate between operating the forklift and bagging materials ready for storage and dispatch.
If you're confident behind the controls, can keep up in a fast-paced, physical environment, and know how to pull your weight, you'll fit right in. This is dirty, dusty, and noisy work - and that's exactly how this crew likes it.
What You'll Be Doing:- Bagging material with 3 person team in rotation
- Using the forklift to safely stack wrapped pallets
- Moving product ready for loading and dispatch
- Pitching in where needed to keep the process flowing
- Endorsed Forklift Licence (OSH considered, endorsed preferred)
- Forklift driving is second nature - no learners here
- Full Class 1 licence and a reliable vehicle
- Proven reliability - if you've had trouble in the past turning up for work, don't apply
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Fit, capable, and comfortable with physical work in a fast-paced setting
- Able to pass a drug screening test
- No ego, no drama - just graft and good banter
- $28/hr + time and a half after 8 hrs
- Potential for Double time!
- Solid hours - 10+ per day
- Monday-Friday with 'optional' Saturday work (where the big $$ is)
- Seasonal role from now until April
- Excellent crew culture - straight-up people who get the mahi done and go home
- Apply now or flick me a message to lock it in.
- Must be able to pass a urine drug screening test
