Busy Café | Permanent Position | Immediate Start Available

We’re looking for a reliable, experienced Baker/Chef to join our fast-paced café team. If you’re passionate about baking and Asian cuisine, and have solid kitchen experience, we want to hear from you.

Pay & Hours:

$30.00–$32.00 per hour

Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed

Up to 50 hours per week available

Key Responsibilities:

Independently bake a variety of breads, muffins, and sweets

Assist in preparing and cooking Asian-style dishes

Operate and maintain kitchen and baking equipment

Follow food safety and hygiene standards

Clean trays and cooking tools; maintain equipment

Handle seafood and assess freshness under correct temperature controls

Lift trays and supplies up to 40 pounds

What We’re Looking For:

NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least 2 years of relevant work experience

Good understanding of baking processes and food safety

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Physically fit and dependable

Positive attitude and able to work well with a multicultural team

Hours of Work:

Business hours: Monday to Saturday, 6:00 am – 5:00 pm

Shifts are rostered between 4:00 am – 4:00 pm across six days (Monday to Saturday)
