Mechanical Fitter

We're on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to support a variety of industrial and commercial projects throughout Wellington. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and want to be part of a supportive team environment, this role could be a great fit.

This position offers consistent full-time hours with a mix of workshop and on-site work. You'll be carrying out mechanical installations, troubleshooting equipment, and performing both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks. With a wide range of projects on the go, you'll be kept on your toes and constantly learning.

• Competitive pay rate: $30 - $40 per hour (depending on experience)
• Full-time work, Monday to Friday

• Full PPE provided

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (or similar relevant experience)
• Solid background in equipment and machinery fitting, repairs, and upkeep
• A current class 1 drivers licence
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Punctual, reliable, and proactive
