About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fitter Turner / Engineering Machinist to join our

precision machining of mechanical components to ensure our equipment and machinery are running at optimal performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tradesperson or engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, fit, and maintain mechanical parts and systems.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other workshop machinery.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and carry out repairs or modifications as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of plant equipment.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve machine performance

and reliability.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in machining, fitting, and mechanical repairs.
• Strong understanding of workshop tools and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation. • High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
