This role is in the inpatient and community setting and may be based out of Hawera or Base Hospital.We are seeking someone with experience and knowledge or training in the Health-Sector.Therapy Assistants work with Occupational Therapy; Physiotherapy and Speech Language Therapist to provide assistance to patients in the form of intervention under the direction/supervision of the therapist.
This may be through execution of an exercise programme or task, or provision of equipment.There are some administration, cleaning and clerical components of the role but it largely involves face to face patient contact.Please click here to view the position description About the Team/Service/ LocationOur team of 8 therapy assistants work across the inpatient wards at Taranaki Base and Hawera Hospital.
