CNC Machine Operator – East Tāmaki, Auckland
Salary: NZD $30-35 per hour (depending on experience)
We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic CNC Machine Operator to join the team at our busy manufacturing facility in East Tāmaki. If you have solid CNC machining skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you.

The Role:
- Operate and program CNC machines (lathes, mills, or other CNC equipment) to produce parts to specification
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and work from job sheets
- Set up, align, and calibrate tooling and fixtures
- Monitor machine operations, carry out in-process checks, and inspect finished parts for quality and tolerance compliance
- Conduct routine maintenance, clean machines, change tooling as required and support continuous improvement in our processes
- Work collaboratively with the team, including engineers, supervisors and other operators, to ensure deadlines are met and quality targets achieved
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a CNC machine operator in a manufacturing environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and apply machining best practices
- Familiarity with CNC programming (or the ability to learn) and tooling set-up
- Excellent attention to detail, strong numerical and measurement skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and committed to producing high-quality work on time
- Ideally NZ Residency or valid work rights for New Zealand
