We're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - a hands-on, solutions-focused lead who keeps our hotel safe, efficient, and looking its best.

The role:

You'll own our preventative maintenance plan, respond quickly to faults, and keep the building compliant and guest ready. From coordinating contractors and scheduling planned works, to managing records, budgets and energy-saving initiatives, you'll be the go-to for a smooth and safe hotel operation.

What you bring:

• Trade background (building/painting/plastering/general maintenance) or strong multi-trade experience in hotels/complex buildings
• Proven track record running preventative maintenance, compliance schedules, contractor supervision, and small projects
• Calm under pressure, organised, and detail-driven - you prioritise smartly, work independently, and communicate clearly with teams and suppliers
• Solid H&S knowledge (HSWA), emergency readiness, and a safety-first mindset
• Comfortable with maintenance systems/admin (work orders, asset registers, budgets) and basic PC skills (MS. Office)
• Flexibility for weekend and after-hours callouts when necessary; full NZ driver license preferred

This role is offering 40 hours per week, and an hourly rate between $30 to $33 per hour depending on experience.

Must have valid working rights for New Zealand and want to commit to the role and company long term.
