HVAC Foreman

What will you do?
As an HVAC Foreman at Fantail Services Limited, you will be a key figure in our various projects. You are responsible for a variety of commercial and industrial installation work which includes Fancoil and air handler units, extraction systems, Chillers, VRF and refrigerant systems, boiler systems, copper and steel brazed, welded and crimped piping systems and seismic bracing. Additional responsibilities include:
- Install HVAC systems to the design and guide the installation process
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines
- Be a foreman for a team of up to 6 people
- On site labour and materials monitoring
- Mentor and train HVAC apprentices

- An hourly rate ranging between $39p/h - $46p/h depending on your knowledge, experience and ability to train apprentices. This is based on a guaranteed minimum 44-hour work week
- An overtime rate of x1.5 of your hourly rate after 44 hours in a week and a day in lieu if working on a statutory holiday
- A weekly tool allowance payment
- 3 times a year a one-on-one progress check-in review with your manager, including a minimum of 1 performance pay review per year

o At 5-years continuous employment, an additional $2,300 is added to your annual remuneration.o At 10-years continuous employment, an additional 3-days annual leave entitlement will be added along with an additional sick leave entitlement. This being unlimited year-on-year accumulation of your annual sick leave entitlement (we will not cap your accumulated sick leave)
o At 15 years continuous employment, a $2,000 gross one-off bonus will be paid. Additional to this is a one-off annual leave grant of 10 working days (2 weeks)- Reimbursement of expenses include a Meal reimbursement if working additional hours past 7:00pm Mon-Fri or if you attend work on the weekend to commit to completing a task/project
- For your role we include a Company vehicle, fuel card, and android phone with enough New Zealand minutes, texts and data to carry out your tasks

As an HVAC Foreman, you have a passion for the construction industry and technology and can apply your creativity, initiative, written & verbal communication, and organizational skills effectively. You adapt your communication style as needed, quickly understand processes, and can grasp new concepts in a short time. You have/are:
- HVAC Installer certification
- Proven experience as an HVAC Foreman
- Exceptional standards of installation execution of pipework, ducting, HVAC equipment and seismic
- A passion for maintaining a safe work environment and health & safety processes
- Proven experience with correctly completing quality assurance [QA] processes
- A passion for using digital technology to complete tasks and follow processes.
Your Work Environment
The Fantail Team consists of our employees working on Commercial & Industrial HVAC and Electrical projects where each of our project values can range up to $4M on construction sites of project values of up to $100M. We have our own team of in-house design engineers for collaboration between our management team and our site teams.
