Senior Quantity Surveyor

One of the Auckland’s main commercial contractors has a built up a strong reputation over the last three decades delivering projects in the $20M - $60M region that are often complex and working from ECI. A need has arisen for a quantity surveyor at senior level that has the experience to step in and manage the financial performance on one of their commercial projects.
The Role:
Reporting to the commercial manager and liaising with the project manager, you will be responsible for administration of subcontractor contracts, monitoring subcontractors to ensure they are undertaking works in accordance with contractual obligations, analysing costs, variations, final accounts, client meetings, resolving issues and liaising across multiple stakeholders.
Your background
You will need to be a degree or diploma qualified Quantity Surveyor with 10+ years’ experience on New Zealand projects over $20M in value gained with a Tier 1 or 2 main contractor. You will need to have a positive attitude and be a team player.Your ability to manage relationships with colleagues, project managers, engineers, architects, sub-contractors and tradespeople will allow you to become a valued member of the project team. You will be working for another main contractor at present and be looking for enhanced career prospects and with opportunity to work on larger sized challenging projects.
Remuneration:
Salary $145K - $170K + Benefits
