George Manning Lifecare & Village is Care Home and Hospital with 63 residents, located in the popular suburb of Spreydon, Christchurch. About this role- Looking for permanent full-time, or part-time or casual Caregiver
- Great hourly rate ($23.97-$30.03 per hour) depending on experience
- AM, PM, Night and Weekend shifts
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents are cared for to the highest standard with kindness and patience, in a warm and caring atmosphere
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience caring for others, ideally within an aged care environment.
- Minimum NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent New Zealand or overseas qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma in Nursing)
- Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
- A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.
