You'll be working for thelargest medical laboratory in the South Island which is also a majorsecondary/tertiary referral centre with a varied and challenging caseload. We have a modern and well-equipped lab including a good range ofspecialist equipment.In this role, you will be responsible for:Providing a high-quality service to clientsRegistering samples into the Delphic LIS, and carrying out processes required for the pre-analytical processing of samplesInterpretation and input of request formsChecking of data for accuracy and informationAnswering telephone enquiries in our Lab line call centreLiaising with staff, patients and referrers effectivelyCo-ordinating shipments (outgoing and incoming)Troubleshooting and basic maintenance of equipment/instrumentationAbout youSkills and ExperienceExcellent interpersonal and organisational skillsThe ability to contribute to and improve personal and team performanceData entry experience, competent level computer skills is preferableFamiliarity with laboratory processes and experience in a similar roleThe ability to perform rostered shifts in a 24 hour, 7 days per week Health LaboratoryWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuringexcellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
