We are deeply integrated into our local community, using our centre van for regular excursions and transport support, while also striving for the Tohu Manawa Ora | Healthy Heart Award through wholesome nutrition and regular baking sessions.

We are proud to be part of the Busy Bees Aotearoa network, which allows our team to enjoy the best of both worlds, offering the warmth of a tight knit local centre backed by the professional security and global expertise of a leading national provider.

About you:

  • Excellent organisational skills keep you completely on top of a busy kitchen and driving schedule
  • Confident managing everything from menu planning to a well stocked and sparkling clean space
  • A proactive mindset ensures maintenance, safety, and hygiene are always your top priority
  • Previous experience cooking for large groups or safely operating a passenger vehicle is a fantastic bonus
The mahi:
  • Preparing daily nutritious meals and snacks to fuel our tamariki for their busy days
  • Supporting older children to engage and help with kai preparation as part of their learning and independence
  • Providing a safe and reliable van service for our families and regular centre excursions
  • Completing the weekly grocery shop and managing kitchen expenditure reports for the Centre Manager
  • Ensuring all early childhood regulations regarding nutrition and safety are met consistently
  • Providing general assistance required to maintain the effective operation of the centre when needed
