Truck driver

1 x Class 4 Truck Driver required immediately based at Mangere, South Auckland.

ROLE

Due to growth in business and customer base, we are urgently looking for a class 4 Truck driver with a good knowledge of the Auckland region, and Class 4 truck driving experience in concrete tuck driving and transporter driver.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will be responsible for loading and carting of materials to client's sites.

You will provide exceptional, reliable service to our clients, with a great attitude.

You will:

• have at least 1 years experience in driving Class 4 truck
• must be able to drive trucks with Road Ranger gear box (please do not apply if you cannot do this)
• be skilled in maneuvering truck and using devices
• observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
• making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
• estimating weights to comply with load limitations and safe weight distribution
• verifying loading documents and obtaining delivery confirmation
• be able to comply with any pre-employment checks and drug testing
• be willing to follow Health and Safety requirements for commercial driving
• be willing to work flexible hours and in the weekends

• Full time permanent position
• No specific qualification required.
• Minimum hourly rate: $25 per hour
• Maximum Hourly rate: $25 per hour
• Minimum hours: 30 hours per week
• Maximum hours: 70 hours per week
• Monday to Saturday - Estimate start 6 am to 6 pm finish but may change as per roaster.
