You will be responsible for greeting our customers, understanding their needs and advising them on the correct tyre fitment for their vehicle.

Your hours will be Monday to Friday, between 7:30am – 5:00pm with rostered Saturdays 9:00am – 12:00 noon

• Strip and fit tyres as required.
• Repair punctures according to the guidelines set out by Management.
• Alert customers to any vehicle faults within his fleet. e.g wheel alignment etc.
• When representing the company, act in a professional manner when dealing with all customers and

• Observe all customer and company Health & Safety regulations, including measures to ensure that

your own safety is not compromised.

• Complete all paperwork as shown.
• Submit all paperwork daily
• Maintain all tools regularly, (grease & oil air tools weekly).

• Assist in the Operation of an efficient branch that achieves financial budgets.
• Actively engage in new customer business that provides sustainable growth attributing to bottom line growth.
• Compliance to Service Level Agreement process including TMS processes.
• Ensure full completion of work processes are completed in full, on time and accurately (job sheets, timesheets, TMS, vehicle audits as an example) meeting operational deadlines.
• Company uniforms must be worn always.
• Vehicle audits and checks must be completed.
• Report damage or wear and tear to vehicle and tools when it happens.
• Adhere to rosters – Saturday and call out rosters.
• Always obtain an order number for work to be completed.

• Actively engage and support Continuous Improvement implementation.
• Maintain equipment to the required OEM standard.
• Actively engage with the wider Carter’s Tyre Service team to drive, problem-solving, and share

learning with colleagues.

• Maintain effective relationships with all customers.
• Ensure all documentation and reporting requirements are completed on time and in full.
• Maintain effective relationships with all other internal and external contact points.
• Clean operational areas and warehouse areas daily or as required.
• Assist team members at the branch – either retail or commercial areas.
• Ensure any customer or public complaints are responded to in a timely manner.

• Other duties as required to meet organization objectives.

• Tyre Industry knowledge – tyre fitting, wheel alignment, commercial fleet maintenance.
• Ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with internal and external

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite): Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Quick learner of systems.
• Accurate with figures and attention to detail.
• Tyre Industry Experience.
• Customer relationship builder – capable of making a sale.

• NZQA L1 or equivalent.
• Qualification in Tyre Fitting.
• NZQA level 4 – Tyre Fitter
• Experience with a team environment.
• Experienced with Costar/TMS.
• Retail and Commercial sales experience.
