Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to hospitality standards.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and analyze financial metrics, including gross profits, to assess and enhance the bar's financial efficiency. Implement effective rostering to optimize productivity and manage labor costs.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute strategies targeting the domestic market to boost sales. Leverage social media platforms to promote the bar and its events, engaging with the community and attracting new patrons.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and manage hotel events such as fishing competitions, Lake Brunner Cycle Trail activities, New Year's Eve celebrations, and live music nights, ensuring seamless execution and memorable experiences for guests.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed, maintaining a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in bar management or a similar hospitality role. LCQ Bar Manager qualification is essential.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics related to bar operations, including gross profits and productivity measures.
  • Proficiency in creating staff schedules and managing labor costs.
  • Experience in sales and marketing, particularly within the domestic market, with a solid grasp of social media promotion strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events successfully.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a proactive approach to setting and achieving goals.
