Healthcare assistant immediate start christchurch
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants- Full Time Permanent – minimum of 32 hours per week to join our fantastic Christchurch wide team.
Shift includes AM, PM and Nights, flexibility is a MUST.
Pay rate: $26.16 to $28.25 per hour
Key responsibilities for this role:- Provide daily care delivering a high standard of personal cares for residents in relation with individual nursing care plans and resident requests.
- Feeding and changing clients in need.
- Assisting clients with all physical needs.
- Observe and report changes in resident conditions as appropriate.
- Communication skills are adequate and are demonstrated continuously.
- Report any changes noted with all clients to the registered nurse in charge.
- At least L3 or L4 Healthcare and Wellbeing equivalent qualification (or hold a registered nurse qualification with experience overseas are preferred)
- Be reliable, motivated and have a warm, friendly, and caring disposition dedicated to helping the elderly, vulnerable adults
- Be confident in first aid, manual handling and infection control. Current certificates beneficial however not essential (be willing to attend our next training session)
