**About the Role**
As a Heavy Diesel Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ trucks and commercial vehicles running safely and efficiently. Working in our well-equipped Timaru workshop, you’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and complete servicing across a range of heavy diesel vehicles.
**Key Responsibilities**- Diagnose and repair faults across diesel engines and vehicle systems
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Complete job documentation and maintain accurate service records
- Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding repairs
- Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workshop environment
- Qualified Heavy Diesel / Automotive Technician
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with diesel engines or heavy vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and workshop best practices
