3. Manage supplier relationships and oversee purchasing decisions.
4. Prepare and manage budgets, including labour and operating costs.
5. Analyse and manage sales performance, profit margins, and financial outcomes to ensure the store meets profitability targets.
6. Develop and implement promotional strategies and sales initiatives to drive revenue.
7. Set sales targets and monitor store performance against business objectives.
8. Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
9. Oversee workforce planning and staffing levels aligned with operational and budget

1. Ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and all regulatory

1. Oversee health and safety systems and responsible alcohol sale practices.
2. Maintain and oversee systems for stock control and financial reporting.
3. Identify and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

1. At least 3 years of relevant retail management experience, or a relevant NZQF Level 5

1. Proven experience in managing liquor retail operations, including staff, stock, and financial performance.
2. Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
3. Sound understanding of sales, inventory management, and budgeting.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
