Heavy Diesel Mechanic – Gisborne | Visa Sponsorship Available – Permanent Employment
Roster: 4 days on / 4 days off, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $41–$43 per hour (based on experience)
You will carry out repair and maintenance work on a variety of heavy off-road equipment—think loaders, excavators, forklifts, trucks and more.

The Role
We're on the hunt for a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to carry out repair and maintenance work on a variety of heavy off-road equipment—think loaders, excavators, forklifts, trucks and more.You'll be working in a fully equipped workshop with the latest tools, great support and the autonomy to take charge of your day.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery
- Hydraulic systems work
- Repairs to attachments, grapples, log heads and more
- Component replacement and preventive maintenance
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds a Level 4 Trade Certificate
- Has proven experience with heavy diesel machinery
- Understands hydraulics and diagnostics
- Holds a minimum Class 2 Driver Licence
- Has a strong work ethic and a great attitude, team player but confident working independently
